Social media is abuzz discussing the violent attack at the US Capitol by Donald Trump supporters. As per the reports, a mob entered the US Capitol to halt the session of Congress to certify Joe Biden's election win to become the next President of the United States. In the altercation between the mob and the police, reportedly four people died. Now, many Hollywood stars have taken to their social media handles to condemn the act. Stars like Chris Evans, Sophie Turner, Sarah Jessica Parker and others expressed their disappointment over the events that unfolded at the US Capitol.

Captain America star Chris Evans made a series of posts on Twitter expressing his shock over the events. One of his tweets read, "Just think of the carnage had they not been white." Sarah Jessica Parker tweeted, "Unimaginable. Disgraceful. Shocking. But no surprise. So many to hold responsible. You know who you are. You dismissed the violent, divisive, cruel rhetoric. You made excuses. Cowards He/you are not leaders. We will try to re-build. You will try to live with yourselves." Michael Keaton wrote, "I was chased and run through tear gas demonstrating against the war in the 70s. What the police DIDN’T do today was shocking. They sure were ready during the BLM demos which was peaceful."

Another Avengers star Mark Ruffalo wrote, "This is a coup attempt on behalf of Trump and his complicit  allies. This is All on Trump and his administration.
